PRP Structural Engineer
Another prestigious high-quality design and build project for our client comprising the construction of 3 buildings sub-divided into 7 individual units, totalling 22,000ft2.
This new development is on a brown field site that requires demolition and remediation to allow the diversion of 2 major Seven Trent Water foul trunk sewers, prior to construction works commencing.
This project is designed with a curved built up clad roof, a combination of composite clad envelopes over clad with feature timber panelling, structural glazing, canopies etc on a structural steel frame, on pad foundations with jumbo stud division walls and large bay flood poured ground bearing slabs. These units are shell and core only with fitout by the occupiers.
The project also includes all associated external works and drainage, with bypass interceptors, storage crate water attenuation, storm pump station ducting installations for BT and cable suppliers, CCTV, signage and external lighting, together with extensive new services to the site, a new HV substation, LV power, gas, water and BT.
Externally there are tarmac circulation areas as well as permeable block paved car parking areas with concrete aprons to loading doors. Environmental improvements will include diverse, native landscape planting, mammal pipes, bird boxes, bat boxes, log piles and Lacewing habitat.
